BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby closed and abandoned Daisy Street located southeast from Bliss Avenue, southwest of Appling Street, more particularly described herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference: Daisy Street, a 50 foot wide right-of-way beginning on the northwest line of Bliss Avenue 375 feet southwest of the intersection of the northwest line of Bliss Avenue with the southwest line of Appling Street, thence southeast some 1050 feet parallel to Appling Street, thence at a right angle southwest 50 feet, thence northwest some 1050 feet parallel to Appling Street to the northwest line of Bliss Avenue, thence northeast 50 feet with Bliss Avenue to the point of beginning. Said street separates blocks 47 and 48, and part of 46, from blocks 55 and 56, and part of 57, Anderson's Addition to East Chattanooga, as shown by plat of record in plat book 3, page 12, R.O.H.C. Tax Map No. 127N-D-13 and 18, and 136C-F-3-8.1. 0C SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this closure and abandonment is made subject to the following conditions: 1. Reservation of an easement the width of the right-of-way for South Central Bell for the purpose of operating and maintaining its facilities in said right-of-way. 2. The areas reserved for utility easements must be kept free and clear of all structures. 3. All existing easements are retained. SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
